Watch the full video recording of the 10th Annual Workshop on Geoethical Nanotechnology, held by Terasem on July 20, the anniversary of the first manned landing on the Moon, in the Terasem Island in Second Life.
The program was focused on Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and his key role in the development of our ideas. How would the Jesuit scientist, Teilhard de Chardin, feel about geoethical nanotechnology?
The workshop, held on July 20 in honor of the anniversary of the first lunar launch, was organized and moderated by Loraine Rhodes (Avatar name: Lori Darling, picture below), who did really great work to put together the program and train some of the speakers in the ways of Second Life.
The spiritual, scientific and cultural content of the workshop was top class. The technical side demonstrated both the awesome potential and the limitations of Second Life for virtual conferences (more about that coming).
